Privacy Policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

T-DAY is an independent game in development, made by an individual developer. There is no registered company behind it. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the people making T-DAY.

The short version: we collect your email address so we can tell you when T-DAY comes out. We don’t sell it, share it for marketing, or use it for anything else. This site has no cookies, ads or third-party trackers.

What we collect

When you sign up, we store:

  • your email address;
  • which signup form on the page you used, and the date and time you signed up;
  • the campaign tag in the link that brought you here, if it had one (for example ?utm_source=tiktok), and the website that referred you, if your browser shares it. This only tells us which posts people find us through.

That’s it. We don’t ask for your name and we don’t build a profile of you.

What we don’t do

  • No cookies.
  • No advertising, social-media pixels or fingerprinting.
  • No tracking you across other websites.
  • No selling, renting or trading your information.

Visit counts

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify individual visitors. We only see totals, such as how many visits the page got, which sites sent them, and broad country and device type.

Your browser

After you sign up, the page saves a small note in your browser’s local storage so it remembers you’ve already enlisted. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes it.

How we use your email

Only to email you about T-DAY’s release. We do this because you asked us to by signing up (your consent), and you can withdraw that at any time.

Who else handles it

We use a few service providers to run the site. They handle your information only on our behalf, and their servers may be in a different country from you:

  • Vercel hosts the website and provides the visit counts. Like any web host, it keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site running and secure.
  • Turso stores the signup list.
  • An email delivery service, when we send the release email, which receives your address only to deliver it.

We’ll also disclose information if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If we stop working on T-DAY, we’ll delete the list.

Your choices and rights

  • Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To do so, reply to any email we send you.
  • Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

We’ll respond within 30 days.

Security

Your information travels over encrypted connections and only we can access the signup list. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect it.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, or under the age of digital consent where they live (16 in some countries). If we learn a child has signed up, we’ll delete their address.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll email you before it applies. See also our Terms of Use and Disclaimer.

Contact

For any question about your data, reply to any email we send you.
